Kim Barrick – painter, writer and seeker – is as diverse and complex as the work she creates. The artist deflects labels, challenges authority, and ponders Life with wonder. Barrick describes her artwork as expressive impressionism, “alive with light and filled with movement,” words that could be applied to their creator as well. A native of Colorado and resident of Tennessee, Barrick claims dual citizenship maintaining homes in both states. Her work is represented by galleries in both the South and West with numerous artworks held in private and corporate collections throughout the Americas, Europe and Asia.
